On April 21, flag carrier Air China resumes direct flights on the Beijing-Xi'an-Astana route, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry of industry and infrastructural development.
The route will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with a frequency of three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
In addition to the current schedule, the national carrier Air Astana plans to increase the number of flights to China from June of this year – on the Astana-Beijing route from one to two, on the Almaty-Beijing route from six to seven, and on the Almaty-Chengdu route from one to two times a week.
This will increase the number of flights between the two countries from 13 to 19 per week, including two China Southern Airlines flights on the Astana-Urumqi route and three on the Almaty-Urumqi route.
