Domestic airline Qazaq Air will operate direct flights between Astana and Chelyabinsk, Russia, QazMonitor reports.
Starting from February 13, regular passenger flights will run three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
"It should be noted that the increase in flights between Kazakhstan and Russia will contribute to the further development of trade and economic, investment, tourist, and cultural cooperation between the two countries," the Civil Aviation Committee said in a message.
