Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee announced plans to resume and increase the number of flights between Kazakhstan’s two main cities and the Chinese capital Beijing, QazMonitor reports.
Starting from March 25, national carrier Air Astana plans to resume flights between Astana and Beijing with a frequency of three flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
The airline also intends to gradually increase flights between Almaty and Beijing from February 13 to five flights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
During the spring and summer navigation period, the flight frequency will be operated on a full-week basis. Both routes will be operated by A-321 LR aircraft.
