Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways will start operating flights on the route Kuwait City–Turkistan from December 3 of this year, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Kazakh ministry of industry and infrastructural development.
The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan reached an agreement with the Kuwaiti airline to launch regular passenger flights to the spiritual center of the Turkic world with a frequency of two flights a week on Tuesdays and Sundays by Airbus A-320.
The ministry states that the introduction of new flights and increasing their frequencies will further strengthen the development of trade, economic, business, investment, cultural, and tourism relations between Kazakhstan and Kuwait.
