Turkish air carrier Pegasus Airlines launched regular flights between Almaty and Ankara, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the ministry of industry and infrastructure development.
The ministry report states that the Civil Aviation Committee is working to further increase the number of flights and expand the geography of flights to and from Kazakhstan. The Committee held negotiations with the aviation authorities of Turkey on the issues of air communication between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
As a result, the Turkish company Pegasus Airlines launched a new flight from November 1 on the route Almaty - Ankara.
Regular flights between the cities will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays by aircrafts A320 and B737.
