Kazakhstan ranks third in the latest International Boxing Association (IBA) rankings, QazMonitor reports citing Kazinform.
The USA topped the IBA rankings with a total score of 34,950. Brazil came in second with 30,050 points. Kazakhstan and Turkiye were placed third with 27,500 points each.
Kazakhstan will compete in the Asian Boxing Championships that will be held on October 30 in Amman, Jordan.
The team coach, Kairat Satzhanov, said the country will be represented by Saken Bibossynov, Serik Temirzhanov, Sabyrkhan Makhmud, Aslanbek Shymbergenov, Nurbek Oralbay, Aibek Oralbay, Sagyndyk Togambay, and others.
