Astana will host the most extensive international forum V Nobel Fest on October 26-28 at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, QazMonitor reports. Nobel Prize Laureates, international CEOs, world innovators, and public leaders will be giving speeches on the most pressing topics of today’s world.

As the name suggests, the most expected personas of the event are the Nobel Peace Prize winners Tawakkol Karman (2011) and Rae Kwon Chung (2007).

Unlike many official forums, the program of V Nobel Fest will focus on popular science TED Talks. QazMonitor presents the top 10 key topics the speakers will cover.

1. Happiness in times of crisis

2. Are we headed for a new financial crisis?

3. How failures motivate innovation

4. Homofuturus: The Beginning or the End of Mankind?

5. A mind without boundaries

6. The future of innovation

7. What universities don’t teach us about

8. What is the importance of rationality?

9. The crisis of globalization

10. What you didn’t know about war

The main partners of the Nobel Festival are the global company Coca-Cola, Jusan Bank, Altyn Qyran Corporation, Auezov South Kazakhstan University, and Seifullin Kazakh Agro-Technical University.

Nobel Fest is the largest international non-profit technology and science education event. Nobel Fest's mission is to make global education and science available in every corner of the world. More than 14 Nobel Prize winners, 14 Breakthrough Award winners (Science Oscar), global innovators, and 500 universities from 155 countries participate in the festival each year.

Due to its positioning, Nobel Fest is a record-breaker among Kazakh forums with the highest number of online participants - 500,000 people. This is more than all forums taken together (Digital Bridge 2021 - 10,222, Astana Finance Days 2022 - 20,477).
