Kazakh cyclist Sergey Ponomarev won two medals at the XVIII Trofeo Internacional Ciudad de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, QazMonitor reports citing Olympic.kz.

The event attracted athletes from 22 countries who competed in the categories of individual sprint, keirin, omnium, and madison. Ponomarev earned gold in two disciplines, one in individual sprint and the other in keirin.
