President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in New York City, where he will participate in the 77th UN General Assembly’s General Debate and meet with the heads of international companies, QazMonitor reports with reference to the Central Communications Service.
On September 19, the President will meet with the heads of global financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citi, Goldman Sachs, NASDAQ, and others.
He also will meet with executives of multinational companies, including Boeing, Exxon Mobil, General Electrics, Wabtec, and Microsoft.
On September 20, Tokayev will address the UN General Assembly during the General Debate. On the same day, he will participate in the Global Food Security Summit.
Aside from those events, the US trip schedule includes meetings with the UN Secretary-General, the leadership of the European Union and heads of several states at their request.
