Kazakhstan’s Gennadiy Golovkin Loses Against Alvarez in Final Fight of GGG-Canelo Trilogy

The Kazakh boxer could not get his revenge in against the undisputed super middleweight champion

The most anticipated match of the GGG-Canelo trilogy ended on a bittersweet note for Golovkin fans as the boxer was defeated by rival Canelo Alvarez, QazMonitor reports.

The third fight took place on Saturday night in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the same place the previous two fights were held.

The first fight between Alvarez and Golovkin in 2017 ended in a split draw; the second fight in 2018 was won by Alvarez thanks to majority decision.
