Kazakhstan's no. 1 doubles player Anna Danilina in a duo with the Serbian Alexandra Krunic defeated the Japanese-Indonesian pair of Mia Kato and Aldila Sutjiadi in the tournament's quarterfinals in American Cleveland (Ohio), QazMonitor reports citing KTF press service.
The winning score was 6:2, 6:7 (4:7), 10:7.
In the semifinals, Anna and Alexandra will have to play against the leaders of the tournament - three-time Grand Slam champions, the Czech pair of Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova.
