Japan Imports Horse Meat From 43 Kazakh Companies

Nine more domestic meat producers have gained the right to export horse meat to Japan, Qazmonitor reports.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan made the agreement as part of a mutual aim to bolster bilateral cooperation.

The nine companies include "Kaindy" LLP (Almaty region), LLP "ASEM-ZHETYSU" (Almaty region), LLP "Meat processing Complex Bizhan" (Akmola region), "Asyl-Asyl" (Atyrau city), IE "Kuanysh" (Atyrau city), Birlestic (Karagandy region), EURASIA INVEST LTD (Karagandy region), ARAY KZ (Karagandy region), BEEF EXPORT GROUP (Kostanai region).

Overall, 43 domestic meat enterprises are registered for the export of their food products to Japan, as of today.
