Team Kazakhstan has significantly improved its position in the updated ranking of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Tengrinews reports, citing Vesti.kz.
In the updated ranking, Kazakhstan took 114th place, going up by 11 positions (previously it placed 125th).
Magomed Adiyev's charges scored ten points in four games (against Azerbaijan 2-0, Belarus 1-1 and Slovakia 1-0, 2-1) in the summer segment of the group stage of UEFA Nations League. Kazakhstan is now leading the group.
The next games in Group 3 of Division C will be on September 22 with Kazakhstan vs. Belarus and Slovakia vs. Azerbaijan.
