Kazakh chess grandmaster Zhansaya Abdumalik, along with her team, became the winners of the OSG Baden-Baden in the German Women’s Bundesliga championship ahead of schedule, Vesti reports.

In the penultimate round, Abdumalik won against another Kazakh chess player Dinara Saduakassova, who played for the second-place winner Chess Club Schwäbisch Hall, with a score of 3.5:2.5. It is OSG Baden-Baden’s twelfth league champion.
The Chess Bundesliga, established in 1980, refers to the premier league of team chess in Germany. It was established in 1980. It is arguably the strongest league of its kind and attracts many high-rated grandmasters.
Zhansaya Abdumalik, 22, is the first Kazakh and Central Asian woman to be awarded the title of men's grandmaster. She is the president of the Almaty Chess Federation.
