Yerzhan Baitanayev, the official representative of the Committee on Sanitary and Epidemiological Control, also gave the statistics for revaccination coverage in the country.
"Revaccination is for people who received a full course of primary vaccination a minimum of six months ago. As of today, 6.3 million people are subject to revaccination by the end of the year. Revaccination coverage is 3.7 million people or 59%. On average, about 21,000 people are getting revaccinated with all types of vaccines every day."
Baitanayev also noted that when traveling abroad, requirements for vaccination and revaccination are determined by the country of entry. When traveling to countries where WHO-approved vaccines are recognized, you can be re-vaccinated with the appropriate vaccines. For countries with which an agreement has been reached on mutual recognition of vaccination passports, the existing vaccination document against CVI is sufficient.
