"I received the news of President Ebrahim Raisi's passing and that of his loyal companions with deep sorrow. President Raisi was an outstanding statesman, who dedicated his life to serving the Iranian state, enhancing the welfare of his people, and maintaining regional stability. His initiatives and achievements were highly regarded by the international community. Kazakhstan will always remember Ebrahim Raisi as a responsible leader and an authoritative international politician who significantly contributed to strengthening bilateral cooperation,"
As previously reported, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash, along with all those accompanying him. The passengers included Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, East Azerbaijan Province Governor Malik Rahmati, and Ayatollah Ali Hashim of Tabriz Province.
