Olympic Runner Renews Kazakhstan's Record in Rotterdam

Olympic athlete can compete in the World Championships

Kazakhstan's long-distance runner and Olympic athlete, Zhanna Mamazhanova, finished third in the Rotterdam Marathon.

The athlete ran the marathon distance in 2 hours 26 minutes and 54 seconds, breaking Kazakhstan's record for the first time in 34 years. Previously, it was achieved by Zoya Ivanova on November 15, 1987.

Now, Zhanna can participate in the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, which will be held from July 15 to 24, 2022.
