On April 24 and 29, the courts of the KTF CSKA tennis center in Almaty hosted the first tournament of the Tennis League TS 2024 season — TS CUP 1. Men’s doubles clashed in one of the most prestigious tournaments in Kazakhstan among tennis fans to find out the strongest athletes in two categories: Grand Masters and Masters. In total, 48 tennis players from Kazakhstan and other countries took part in the competition.
The tournament was hosted by Director Abylai Ongarbayev and the TLTS Tennis League, founded by the famous entrepreneur and passionate tennis fan Serik Tolbasy.
"You know, I want to congratulate everyone on the opening of our series of tournaments TLTS and admit that I was looking forward to today with great anticipation and I hope that you have the same feelings!"
Despite the weather forcing the tournament to be split into two sessions—one on April 24 and the final on April 29—the event was a seamless experience, executed with top-notch professionalism.
The tournament judges were young athletes of the Tennis Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the chief referee Artem Ascheulov. The ranking system in the TS Tennis League is comparable to that of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). To get to the Final Tournament, the players will need to maximize their ranking by winning points during the season.
The participants showed the highest level of play, showed their skill and will to win, which was noted in his congratulatory speech Andrey Kvasov - Director of the Branch of the Tennis Federation in Almaty: "I congratulate everyone on the opening of the season of tournaments TLTS -2024 and I want to note a very high level of games today, both in the Grand Masters and Masters categories. The prize fund of the tournament in the Grand Masters category amounted to 1,500,000 tenge.

The winners and runners-up were awarded cash prizes, diplomas and gifts from partners and sponsors of the season.
One of the tournament's special moments was the prize drawing sponsored by Parimatch, the General Sponsor of the TLTS 2024 season. The tennis ball autographed by WTA star Elena Rybakina was won by participant Adil Medeuov.
What made the tournament both electric and wholesome was the heartfelt support the players got from their most loyal and important fans — the family. And there sure were some future tennis stars among them.
The tournament became a key event for tennis enthusiasts, offering them a chance to showcase their skills, boost their energy, and connect with fellow fans of the sport.
The next tournament of TLTS-2024 season will be held on May 15. TS league invites everyone to participate and cheer for the athletes.
