Kazakhstan’s Ambassadors to China and Mongolia Appointed

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan appoints new ambassadors

President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev appointed ambassadors of Kazakhstan to China and Mongolia, Tengrinews reports.

Gabit Koishibayev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia. He was relieved of the post of Ambassador to China, which he held since November 2019.

Shakhrat Nuryshev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China. He has been relieved of the post of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Nuryshev had already served as ambassador to China from February 2015 to October 2019. Since 2019, he has served as first deputy foreign minister.
