Kazakh trade mission to Armenia signed seven agreements in Yerevan covering trade and economic relations, tourism, and logistics, QazMonitor reports citing the Ministry of Trade and Integration.
What happened: On April 9, during the joint “Development Of Trade And Economic Relations, Tourism And Logistics” business forum in Yerevan, the participants presented investment and business opportunities in diversifying transport routes and creating new export, import, and transit operations. The sides also discussed bilateral tourism potential.
The high potential of cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan is evidenced by the data of the Statistical Committee of Armenia, according to which the trade turnover between our two countries in 2023 amounted to $100.4 million. An increase of 2.4 times compared to the same period in 2022. I am sure that reinforcing bilateral cooperation will significantly contribute to increasing this figure.
Agreements: Seven documents were signed at the end of B2B meetings and negotiations held during the forum.
