Kazakhstan Boosts Cathode Copper Exports to Turkiye, China

The main importers of Kazakh products are China, which accounts for 63% of all exports, Turkiye (31%), and Latvia (4%)

In January, Kazakhstan’s copper cathode exports increased by 42.9%, rising from 29,186 tons to 41,705 tons, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of QazIndustry.

Key figures: The Development Directorate of Mining and Metals Sector and Chemistry of the export center highlights a significant surge in demand for Kazakh exports in Turkiye, with the amount doubling from 6,645 to 13,043 tons, and China showing a 63.7% increase, rising from 16,331 to 26,737 tons of exports.
