"Kazakhstan strongly condemns the terrorist attack against civilians in Moscow," said President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the press service of Akorda reports.

President Tokayev believes that there can be no justification for terrorism and calls on UN member states to unanimously declare their rejection of this kind of violence against innocent citizens.

On the instructions of the head of state, Kazakhstan's law enforcement agencies will provide assistance to their Russian counterparts if necessary.

The President of Kazakhstan also expressed condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the numerous victims of the terrorist attack.

On March 22, a shooting occurred at the Crocus City Hall, followed by a fire. Reports by Russian Telegram channels indicate that 83 people were killed. According to the governor of Moscow oblast (region) Andrey Vorobyov, 115 people were injured.

A hotline for citizens of Kazakhstan is available at 8 (925) 897-71-14, as announced by the Embassy of Kazakhstan.
