Kazakhstan to Sign Transportation Agreements with Four Countries

The Transport Ministry has outlined its plans for the 2025-2027 period regarding road transportation

The Ministry of Transport intends to sign agreements aimed at facilitating road transportation with Denmark, North Macedonia, Portugal, and the UAE, QazMonitor reports citing Kazinform.

What it means: Currently, efforts are underway to coordinate the text of agreements with the competent authorities in the aforementioned countries.

  • The agreements in international road transportation with Denmark, North Macedonia, Portugal, and the UAE will establish a legal framework benefiting domestic carriers operating in these countries. Transportation processes will be streamlined through the exchange of mutually recognized permits.

  • The Ministry has incorporated the development of these agreements into the perspective plan for the 2025-2027 period.
