Astana Hub international tech park has announced the launch of the third batch of the Startup Garage incubator programme for emerging startups, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Hub.

The program is tailored for IT projects at the MCI or MVP stages, led by founders aged 16 and older from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. Spanning 12 weeks, the program equips startups with the knowledge and skills needed for rapid development.

Experts and guest lecturers, including founders of successful startups, investors and major IT players, will share their insights and tips on creating and developing a successful startup. The program will also provide specialized support in such areas as Software, Edtech, Fintech, Medtech, B2B sales and others.

The program’s prerequisites include a certificate of completion of the Startup Academy educational course a valid Individual Identification Number (IIN) and a digital signature key. Applicants for participation in the third batch of Startup Garage will be selected based on screening. Additional consultations on the Startup Garage program are available via Telegram.

The Startup Academy program provides a comprehensive approach to training, including video lectures in two languages, an interactive LMS platform with tasks, access to the general chat of the IT startup community, and the issuance of a certificate of completion of the course, which is an advantage for participation in Astana Hub’s incubators and accelerators.

“Startup Garage includes preliminary training for participants aimed at avoiding common mistakes, testing the first prototype to improve the project, and identifying the target audience. Participants are also introduced to methods for further development and the creation of initial sales attracting investors. Upon completion of the program, participants will fully master the basics of running a tech startup, develop a finished product, and a sales strategy,” – said Yerbol Akhmetov, Director of the Astana Hub business programs office.

The previous two batches of Startup Garage last year received 366 applications, resulting in 204 selected projects. A total of 79 startups completed the incubation, advanced to the next stage of development, showed sales growth and entered the international market.

The application is available via this link until March 5, 2024.
