Prime Minister, Foreign Investors Discuss New Projects in Kazakhstan

Harmony Capital Strategy AMC sees potential for financing infrastructure projects in the regions

Kazakhstan's Prime Minister, Alikhan Smailov, convened a meeting with leaders from Harmony Capital Strategy AMC, Citius Capital AG, Torkam Holding, and Marsel Group to discuss crucial initiatives, primeminister.kz reports.

The heads of central government agencies actively participated in deliberations, addressing various projects encompassing housing and medical facilities construction, the advancement of renewable energy sources, and enhancements to transportation infrastructure.

During the discussions, Prime Minister Smailov underscored the government's commitment to fostering a favorable business environment, expressing openness to new investment propositions. "We welcome your intentions and initiatives in the implementation of projects in Kazakhstan," stated the Prime Minister.

In response, Kaspar Wohnlich, the head of the delegation, founder of Harmony Capital Strategy AMC, and CEO of Citius Capital AG, highlighted the progress made in preliminary work for the planned projects. "We have conducted working meetings, visited the regions multiple times, and believe there is significant potential for financing infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan," he remarked.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Smailov directed government agencies to thoroughly examine and address all the issues raised, emphasizing the importance of further developing cooperation with the investors.
