President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has commenced an official visit to Italy, Akorda press service reports.
Upon his arrival at the Rome airport, the Kazakh President was welcomed by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto and Archbishop Francesco Canalini.
Today, on January 18, the Head of State is scheduled to engage in discussions with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Tokayev will participate in the "Kazakhstan - Italy" investment roundtable and conduct meetings with leaders of major Italian companies.
On January 19, the Vatican will host an audience between the President of Kazakhstan and Pope Francis.
