Kazakhstan, UAE Sign MOU for Data Center Investment and Digital Cooperation

Digital and Space Ministry also discussed cooperation with a leading AI company

Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, Bagdat Mussin, together with the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Nurlan Zhakupov, held a meeting with the UAE Minister of Investment, Mohamed Hassan Al-Suwaidi. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Samruk-Kazyna JSC, the UAE Ministry of Investment, and the Digital and Space Ministry.

As reported by the press service of the Digital and Space Ministry, this strategic document aims to create a foundation for investment in data center projects to be implemented in the territory of Kazakhstan. The document aims to establish strong and effective cooperation between the two countries. It is also planned to introduce incentives to support relevant initiatives and promote experience exchange.

Also, during his trip to Abu Dhabi, Bagdat Mussin met with Thomas Pramotedham, Chairman of the Board of Presight AI. At the meeting, new prospects for cooperation in the IT sector were discussed. Earlier, Pramotedham visited Kazakhstan to participate in the Digital Bridge forum.

Presight AI, a leading company in the field of big data analysis based on artificial intelligence, is a member of the G42 Group — a global leader specializing in artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
