Kyzylorda Hub has concluded two batches of the Startup Joly incubation program. The hub received 257 applications, of which 102 projects were selected to compete for a $4,500 prize fund, QazMonitor reports citing the Ministry of Digital and Space.
Throughout the incubation, projects underwent courses in technological entrepreneurship, received both collective and individual mentorship, and participated in workshops. The program culminated in Demo Day, where 42 projects showcased their ideas to potential investors.
In addition, the Kyzylorda Hub team held discussions with a delegation from Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) last August. The meeting explored collaboration within the framework of SeoulTech's business incubation center at The Higher School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science in Kyzylorda.
SeoulTech's delegation expressed interest in supporting Kyzylorda Hub and indicated a willingness to sponsor the technical equipment for the hub’s new co-working space at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. This sponsorship will provide additional opportunities for the development of innovative projects and startups in the region.
