The CPC terminal in Kazakhstan shipped 56 million tons of oil in 2023, with the Tengiz field contributing the highest volume, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

In 2023, the CPC terminal shipped a record 63,473,894 tons of oil, surpassing its 2022 figures by 4,762,749 tons.

"Despite unfavorable weather conditions in November–December 2023, leading to repeated halts in oil loading, the consortium successfully shipped 578 tankers. In total, 56,051,967 tons of oil were shipped from Kazakhstan and 7,421,927 tons from Russia, forming the CPC Blend crude oil," reported the CPC.

Last year's primary contributors to the CPC pipeline system were the Tengiz, Karachaganak, and Kashagan fields, delivering 27,463,081 tons, 9,619,452 tons, and 17,897,972 tons of oil, respectively.

From 2001 to 2024, 888,076,899 tons of oil have been transported to global markets through the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system.
