In a yearly recap of the results of international partnerships, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education published a digest on which leading foreign universities opened their branches in Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Ministry.
The Ministry shared that the following partnerships were established in the area of higher education in 2023:
A branch of Heriot-Watt University (Scotland) has been established at Zhubanov University in Aktobe
University of Economy in Bydgoszcz (Poland) has opened a branch at Shakarim University
Zhetysu University and Marche Polytechnic University (Italy) signed an agreement to establish a branch of the latter in Kazakhstan
German-Kazakh Institute of Sustainable Engineering Sciences (a consortium of German universities) opened a branch at Yessenov University.
SeoulTech Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics has been inaugurated at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University
A branch of the University of Hong Kong (CitiU) opened at Satbayev University (Almaty)
Lu Ban Workshop (China) has been established at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University in collaboration with Tianjin Vocational University.
An agreement has been signed to open a Northwestern Polytechnic University (China) branch at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
