On December 28, the National Institute of Intellectual Property issued six patents for breeding achievements of the Adai horse breed and registered them in the state register, QazMonitor reports.
Talgat Uali, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice, reported that Kazakhstan has officially registered six breeds of the Adai horse as a national brand. This certification affirms the exclusive rights of the patentee to use the breeding achievement, acknowledging its priority and the authorship of the breeder.
Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government to undertake efforts for the scientific recognition and reproduction of the Adai horse breed. The Ministry notes that obtaining patents for the new horse breeds will further contribute to the preservation of the Adai breed.
