President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, the press service of Akorda reports.
Nurmukhambetov provided an update on the socio-economic development of the region, mentioning that North Kazakhstan agrarians had harvested 3.7 million tons of grain. According to his information, 13 dairy farms are under construction in the region, with 6 of them expected to be operational by the end of the year.
He also stated that in the agricultural sector, 27 projects worth 80 billion tenge are planned for implementation, creating a thousand jobs. This initiative aims to meet the region's demand for poultry meat, dairy products, and fresh vegetables during the off-season.
In the industrial sector, a pool of 39 investment projects totaling 469 billion tenge is underway, creating 6 thousand jobs. This year, 15 projects are scheduled to be introduced.
According to the akim, 25 villages will receive water through the construction of new facilities, 149 villages through the installation of complex block modules, and 46 villages through group water pipeline projects.
The Head of the North Kazakhstan region presented information that four schools will be built in Petropavlovsk as part of the national project “Comfortable School.” A remedial school is currently under construction. Under the national project “Modernization of Rural Health Care,” 46 medical institutions will be put into operation in the region, with eight expected to be commissioned by the end of the year. Two polyclinics have been built in the regional center, and construction of a polyclinic in the Ualikhanovsky district is underway. Gauez Nurmukhambetov noted that the heating season in the region is progressing smoothly.
The Head of State issued instructions on the further development of the region and addressing pressing issues of the population.
