Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy and Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of understanding to foster cooperation in the realm of digital energy. Inked on a Wednesday in Astana, the document was signed by Vice-Minister of Energy Bakytzhan Ilyas and CEO of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan Zhao Xu, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the Ministry.
The memorandum envisions collaboration for the implementation of joint innovative projects in digital energy, strengthening the scientific-technical and production potential of the Unified Energy System of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Partnership with Huawei aims to elevate the level of human capital, facilitating joint research and educational projects to enhance professional expertise in the industry, boost the scientific potential of universities, and expand knowledge in digital energy while fostering digital skills among citizens.
