The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed deep concerns over the serious aggravation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has resulted in civilian casualties, QazMonitor reports citing Kazinform.
Speaking to the press, the ministry's official representative, Aibek Smadiyarov, stressed that the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tel Aviv is maintaining constant contact with our citizens in Israel. Currently, the embassy has established a hotline and is compiling a list of compatriots to provide them with further assistance in returning to Kazakhstan.
"We urge both parties to seek political solutions to resolve the situation peacefully and to refrain from actions that could lead to further escalation not only between the two states but also in the Middle East as a whole," added Smadiyarov.
