The national taekwondo team secured one silver and three bronze medals at the 2023 Chuncheon Korea Open International Taekwondo Championships, QazMonitor reports citing the National Olympic Committee.
On August 8-14, the city of Chuncheon hosted the international tournament that attracted participants from 60 countries across senior and junior categories.
Eldar Birimbay secured the team a silver medal in the category under 68 kg, while Botagoz Kapanova (under 49 kg), Cansel Deniz (under 67 kg), and Nurlan Myrzabayev (under 80 kg) earned bronze medals.
