Team Kazakhstan won the gold medal at the Asian Road Cycling Championships in Thailand, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
"The Asian Championships in road cycling started in Rayong (Thailand). Team Kazakhstan got their first medal at the tournament. Our athletes won gold. Kazakhstan's cyclists finished first in the team race (mixed)," reads the official message.
Kazakhstan is represented at the championships by Rinata Sultanova, Igor Zhang, Evgeny Fedorov, Dmitry Gruzdev, Makhabbat Umutzhanova and Marina Kuzmina.
