A private space company from Kazakhstan, Eurasian Space Ventures (ESV), owned by Shukhrat Ibragimov, an entrepreneur and board member of the Eurasian Bank, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Deep Blue Aerospace, a Chinese company developing commercial launch vehicles.

The purpose of the parties is the exchange of information, experience and ideas, joint development of space projects. This agreement expands the cooperation of ESV with space companies of different countries for the development of the private space industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"In recent years, Kazakhstan has made progress in the design and development of software for the production of satellites and spacecraft, as well as the creation of various satellite applications. As China is very active in promoting its national space program, we see many options for cooperation between the private space sector and Chinese companies to develop Kazakhstan's space industry. Our partners perceive Kazakhstan as a sacred place for space projects, thanks to the launch of the first manned flight from Baikonur Cosmodrome."

Shukhrat Ibragimov, the founder of ESV.

ESV said it appreciates the potential for cooperation in rocket and satellite technologies, including access to R&D in next-generation microchip development, software development, spacecraft manufacturing, space services and ground equipment.

"With the support of the national company Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary and the international technopark Astana Hub, we are creating an aerospace incubator-accelerator in Kazakhstan. And we strive to attract more international companies for its development."
