Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev and CEO of Xinjiang Shutu Technology Co., Ltd Mo Shengjun signed a memorandum of cooperation, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry.
The memorandum was signed during the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the People's Republic of China.
Xinjiang Shutu Technology Co., Ltd is a leading provider of solutions and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, and digital economy.
According to the signed document, the parties intend to cooperate in the development of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and China, the study of new trade models and methods of market development.
In particular, the Kazakh side was interested in the company's existing digital developments in agriculture management, the commodity balance of food and other products. The Chinese company has expressed its intention to build a center in Kazakhstan to produce high-tech export-oriented goods, fruit, vegetable, as well as meat products.
