The ministry of foreign affairs drafted an agreement between the government of Kazakhstan and Vietnam on mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports, QazMonitor reports citing the Open Legalacts portal.
According to the draft, individuals possessing passports valid for a minimum of 6 months will be exempt from visa requirements for single or multiple entry, exit, transit, and temporary stay in the territory of the other party, for a maximum period of 30 days from the date of crossing the border.
The total duration of stay will be 90 calendar days for each period of 180 calendar days.
It is expected that the agreement will promote bilateral tourism and further strengthen the economic and trade ties between the two countries. The document will be open for public discussions until June 2nd.
