On April 8, the ministry of agriculture lifted the ban on the export of onions from Kazakhstan, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry’s press service.
At the same time, from April 8 to April 28 this year, the authorities will impose quantitive restrictions on the export of onions from Kazakhstan to third countries and members of the Eurasian Economic Union in the amount not exceeding 20,000 tons. During this period, a maximum of 500 tons per single exporter is allowed.
Distribution of quota volumes for the export of goods is carried out automatically upon issuance of phytosanitary certificates via the official website for the plant quarantine subsystem.
