During an online meeting of the SCO’s ministers of culture, Deputy Secretary-General Janesh Kane supported the proposal of the Kazakh minister Askhat Oralov. The meeting was also attended by representatives of China, India, Russia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Today we have already developed a plan, which includes 14 events in the city of Almaty. These are international tourist and cultural festivals, as well as marathons. Kazakhstan's presidency in SCO will also be accompanied by a rich cultural program.
