14-year-old Eva Korysheva became the winner of the prestigious Tennis Europe tournament in Turkiye, QazMonitor reports citing the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation (KTF).
Korysheva is a student of the Aktobe school of tennis, who played in the U-14 category. Tennis Europe is the largest regional association of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
The young tennis player defeated the Czech player Jana Kovaczkova with 6:1, 7:6 in the final.
"Eva won her fourth Tennis Europe singles title. In the current rankings of the European Tennis Association, she is ranked 61st, but thanks to her victory in Turkey on Tuesday, she will move up significantly in the updated rankings," the KTF announced.
