The Ministry of Labor approved the list of in-demand professions, for which foreigners will be able to obtain a residence permit, QazMonitor reports.
Foreigners with in-demand professions may apply for a residence permit from the internal affairs agencies under a simplified procedure without proof of ability to pay. Residence permits will be issued for a period of 10 years or for the duration of the foreigner's passport.
The law will take effect on February 28, 2023.

3. Oncologist
4. Neonatologist
5. Endocrinologist
6. Research engineer in inorganic substances technology
7. Research engineer in organic technology
8. Pharmaceutical manufacturing engineer
9. Research engineer in mineral processing
10. Aeronautical engineer
11. Software and hardware engineer for space systems
12. Manufacturing engineer for the integration of new technology
13. Laser engineer
14. Research engineer in pulp, paper, printing, and fiber technology
15. Medical radiochemical engineer
16. Medical physics engineer
17. Textile raw materials classifier
18. Bacteriologist
19. IT infrastructure architect
20. Software architect
21. Apprenticeship master (engineering)
