According to the updated WBO rankings, Kazakh boxer Sultan Zaurbek (13-0, 9 KOs) moved up to the 10th place in the welterweight division, QazMonitor reports.
Previously, Zaurbek occupied the 11th position. His peer, Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (13-0, 8 KOs) holds the title of the WBO middleweight champion, while Meiirim Nursultanov (18-0, 10 KOs) is ranked third in the same division. Ali Akhmedov (19-1, 14 KOs) retained 12th place in the super middleweight division.
Alimkhanuly received the title after the previous champion, Demetrius Andrade, gave up his belt by moving to the welterweight class.
