Kazakhstan intends to establish a partnership with an employment-focused social media platform LinkedIn, QazMonitor reports.

Microsoft’s subsidiary LinkedIn is a major online platform for career networking. Its presence is found in over 200 territories and, as of 2021, its user base is 774 million people.

Kazakhstan is the first Central Asian country to partner up with Linkedin.

In an online meeting with the representatives of the American company, the minister of information and social development Darkhan Kydyrali outlined Kazakhstan’s interests in improving the professional level of journalists, press secretaries, and media managers in the country.

“In this context, we recognize the benefits of using social media and online platforms which is why we are interested in partnering with you," concluded Kydyrali.
