Paralympian Yerbol Khamitov Became World Champion in Sweden

Kazakhstan's Yerbol Khamitov became the world champion in paragliding, QazMonitor reports citing Tengrinews.

Östersund, Sweden is currently hosting the world paragliding and para biathlon championships. Yerbol came first in the paragliding competition at 2 hours 44 minutes and 23 seconds.

The second place went to Ukrainian athlete Taras Radu, and the third to Brazilian Cristian Westmeyer.
