Dutch Clean Tech will be implementing a project for the construction and renovation of sewage treatment facilities in the Almaty region, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the region’s city council.
The head of the city council Marat Sultangaziyev has signed a bilateral memorandum with the representatives of the Dutch company. He noted that the sewage renovation will have a major impact on the region’s tourism potential.
I think that together we can improve this area. In fact, we have rural areas that also require building and reconstructing sewerage networks.
The memorandum outlines the project’s participation efficiency in the state and regional programs via a comprehensive investment plan.
According to the representative of the Dutch company Jasper Sluijmers, from 5 to 8 projects will be implemented within the memorandum’s framework. In addition, the document’s contents mandate local hiring, which is expected to create new jobs in the region.
