Kazakhstan and the U.S. are planning to strengthen their economic partnership in 2023, QazMonitor reports citing the ministry of the national economy.
Alibek Kuantyrov, the minister of national economy, held a meeting with US Ambassador to Kazakhstan Daniel N. Rosenblum to discuss issues concerning bilateral cooperation in trade, especially trade route diversification, attraction of foreign direct investment, and transfer of knowledge and technology.
Mr. Rosenblum noted the similarities between Kazakh and American vision for regional and global development. He said that the US embassy is working with American businesses to introduce them to the local investment climate and help them open regional offices in Kazakhstan.
He expressed hope that there will be more successful trade missions for US businesses in Kazakhstan in 2023.
