The Turkistan region is looking to apply Croatia’s experience in the development of its own youth football league, QazMonitor reports citing Turkistan’s akimat.
Children in the Turkistan region will have the opportunity to receive football training in Croatia. The regional akimat also has built the football academy Turan and plans to attract foreign coaches to train the team.
The regional akim Darkhan Satybaldy said the akimat was ready to cooperate with Croatian specialists and football academies during a meeting with a delegation headed by Tonchi Glavina, State Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
Satybaldy congratulated Croatia on reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup, which is taking place in Qatar, and offered to strengthen bilateral business ties in the field of sports and tourism.
Several investment projects have been offered for consideration.
