Kazakhstan’s speed skating team earned six medals in the Four Continents Speed Skating tournament in Canada, QazMonitor reports citing the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
ISU Four Continents Speed Skating Championships was held from December 2-4, 2022 in the eastern province of Canada.
Nadezhda Morozova came in first in the 1,500-meter race and second in the 3,000-meter race. Her teammate Ekaterina Aidova finished second in the 1,500-meter and 1,000-meter events.
Dmitry Morozov pocketed silver in the men’s 1,500-meter race, while Vitaly Shchigolev won gold in the 5,000-meter race.
